What I learned from this experience is that fingerprints are very unique and if you don’t have to whole print it is very hard to match the print to someone. The World's Largest Public Domain Media Search Engine We’re sure it was Jeremy because we matched the print on the jar to a packet full of prints and his matched perfectly to the print we got from the jar. With all the evidence we’ve gathered, we came to the conclusion that Jeremy Rubio was the one who stole Mr. The triangle in the center shows us another eye. Inside the square it shows us a dot (of a very short bridge). The triangle above the wide circle shows the ending ridge (including broken ridge). The circle above the bottom triangle shows the bridge minutiae. The circle right above shows the eye (enclosed or island). We put the fluorescent powder on the almost visible fingerprint and dusted it off until there’s not that much powder. The materials we used to get the fingerprints are either the black or fluorescent powder, dusting brushes, tape, note cards, and the jar. These are important because it helps distinguish the small ridges of fingerprints, not all prints have the same details so it’s easier to compare prints and see which one’s match. The fingerprint categories are arch, whorl, and loop, the subcategories are tentarch, right loop, left loop, double loop, and mixed figure.
